I think it is unwarranted because;
no means by patients to sue hospitals for maldiagosis and mistreatment
most middle class or wealthier residents travel to Malaysia or Singapore for even routine transactions.
from hearsay, most university medical programs accept payment instead of proficiency in order to award medical degrees
Nevertheless personal experience was generally positive taking into account long lead=in time to actually find competent healthcare providers.
